We wanted to give girls the chance to show off their unique style, and that’s why we've designed our swimwear collection to be completely mix-and-match.

Our launch collection came together quickly as we wanted to address a few big gaps in the tween market. As our designs evolved, and we got closer to production, the one thing we couldn't agree on was a name for our label.

When we started thinking about colours and patterns for our Island Crush Swimwear Collection it was a bit overwhelming. For a tween-focused line, we couldn't have anything too cutesy or clichéd, but what could we have?

Last Christmas I was on a mission to find some cute yet sun-safe swimwear for my daughter. She couldn't help but envy her brothers’ cool board shorts, questioning why her own swimwear had to be so short and skimpy.
